Candle Care and Safety

Your candle is made with pure natural wax made from coconut oil and rapeseed oil completely free from paraffin, soy, palm, beeswax and synthetic additives resulting in a luxury eco and vegan friendly candle. Due to the purity of the wax you may notice some frosting on the surface of your candle, this doesn't affect how the candle will perform when it burns.

When burning your candle for the first time, let it burn until the melt pool reaches the edge of the glass. This should take about four hours. Subsequent burns should be no longer than four hours. Also remember that too short a burn can cause your candle to tunnel, so try aiming for about 3-4 hours each time.

After the wax has solidified, and before lighting again, trim your wick to about 1/4 inch. This will ensure a slower burning flame. If you don't have a cutting tool to hand, you can pinch the top of the wick with your fingers and discard. Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and any other debris.

Always burn your candle within sight on a level heat resistant surface and never pick up your candle whilst lit. Keep your candle away from drafts, vibrations and anything that could catch fire. Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets.

When your candle is almost empty leave a 1/4 inch of wax. Allowing an empty candle to continue to burn can cause your container to overheat and break. Enjoy,
